DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – We travel to the beautiful market town of Ludlow for a little free time before travelling to our hotel.
Day 2 – Our first stop today is to the impressive Ironbridge Gorge before making our way to Blists Hill Victorian Town. As one of Shropshire’s top attractions, the Ironbridge Gorge was the world’s first iron bridge which was erected over the River Severn in 1779, today is it one of Britain’s best-known industrial monuments and is known through the world as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. At Blists Hill Victorian Village you can experience life as it was over 100 years ago through the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of a recreated Victorian Town!
Day 3 – Today we head to Shrewsbury for half a day. Birthplace of Charles Darwin, Shrewsbury is one of England’s finest medieval market towns and the shopping centre is packed with timber-framed black and while buildings, steep narrow streets and alleyways.
Day 4 – After breakfast we visit the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford, the only place in the Midlands where you can get close to so many breathtaking aircraft! The museum is home to over 70 international important aircrafts which are housed in 3 Wartime hangers, including the world’s oldest Spitfire and a Lincoln Bomber.
Day 5 – This morning we take you to Sunnycroft, this National Trust property is a late Victorian Villa, originally built in 1880 Sunnycroft is a rare, unaltered villa furnished with original wallpapers and Maw tiles. After a little free time, we return home.
