DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – After door-to-door pick-ups we join the coach and travel south, catching a ferry across to the Isle of Wight.
Day 2 –This morning, we visit the National Trust’s Mottistone Gardens, set in a sheltered valley this magical garden is full of surprises, with shrub-filled banks, hidden pathways and colourful herbaceous borders. After, we head to The Needles where you can admire The Needles Rocks and Trinity Lighthouse - the Isle of Wight’s most famous landmark.
Day 3 – Sitting on the southern coast of the Isle of Wight, Sandown is famed for its traditional British seafront and pier. With a range of great attractions you are free to spend today however you wish.
Day 4 – After breakfast, we head to the seaside resort of Shanklin, where over 70% of the area is classed as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Followed by an afternoon in Steephill Cove, located on the ‘sunny south side of the Isle of Wight! You’ll definitely want to bring your camera along to capture this traditional, unspoilt fishing cove.
Day 5* (July & Sept only) – This morning, we take you to Ryde, the largest town on the island for free time. Later we have arranged a journey on the award-winning Isle of Wight Steam Railway from Wootton to Smallbrook. So, settle back in beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages and enjoy the view of some of the island’s unspoilt countryside.
Day 6 – After breakfast we catch the ferry and continue our journey home.
