Later, we travel to short distance to St David’s, the smallest town in the UK. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St David’s is renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife.
Day 3 – Enjoy free time to explore Carmathen. Situated on the River Towy, it lays claim to be one of, if not the oldest town, in Wales.
Day 4 – After breakfast we travel to Cwm Dei Vineyard – a beautiful vineyard in Pembrokeshire for a tour and tasting! Along with a sampling of 6 products, there will also be a selection of 3 mini sandwiches, a scone with jam and cream plus a slice of sponge cake served with tea or coffee. After this indulgent treat, there is also the opportunity to enjoy an optional walk around the vineyard and an informative talk. This afternoon we will enjoy a journey on the Gwili Railway. Located in the village of Bronwydd, this standard gauge steam railway runs between Bronwydd Arms, Aberqwili Junction and Danycoed, passing through picturesque farmland and wooded hillsides.
Day 5 – We travel to Saundersfoot, the village has an increasing reputation as a gourmet resort, thanks to the high-quality restaurants and cafés and the local Pembrokeshire produce. After a little free time, we return home.
