DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – After pickups we head to our hotel - of this 18th century Inn near Loch Lomond, sitting beside the roaring log fire whilst planning your day's exploration of the surrounding beautiful Trossachs countryside.
Day 2 – This morning we visit Sea Life Centre in Loch Lomond – here we enjoy an Otter experience. We then travel to Brenachoile restaurant, where we have organised a soup and sandwich lunch followed by a ‘wee’ cake! Afterwards, we enjoy a cruise along Lake Katrine, on-board the world-famous steamship SS Sir Walter Scott. Captivating visitors for almost a century, during our journey we will glide past some of Trossachs most stunning landmarks, including Ben A’an and Ben Venue. This afternoon, you will have the opportunity to see some majestic Red Kites up close from a “hide” at Argaty Red Kites, the only Red Kite feeding station in Scotland.
Day 3 – The village of Drymen sits in the hills at the western end of the Campsie Fells, overlooking the Endrick Water as it nears Loch Lomond. Enjoy free time today to explore this popular town.
Day 4 – We will begin our day in North Berwick at the award-winning Scottish Seabird Centre, situated on the harbour, with stunning views across the Firth of Forth. Home to almost half of all of Europe’s seabirds, the Firth of Forth is a key breeding area with over 500,000 seabirds. Inside the discovery centre you can control interactive live cameras on the local islands to zoom in on the amazing wildlife in its natural habitat! Including the Gannets on Bass Rock, the world’s largest colony of Northern Gannets. Afterwards, we will be met by a knowledgeable guide for a catamaran cruise to Bass Rock and Craigleith Cliffs – This unforgettable trip will take you closer than ever before to Puffins, Grey Seals, even more Gannets and Dolphins all in their natural habitat. On our way back to the hotel, we will enjoy a leisurely stop at The Kelpies, the world’s largest equine sculptures.
Day 5 – After breakfast we head to the highlands in Perthshire where we have arranged a mountain safari for you! Armed with your cameras and binoculars, claim aboard as we journey to the high tops through a land sculptured by the elements and steeped in history, culture, nature and breathtaking views with no shortage of photo opportunities. You will also have the chance to come face to face with Britain’s largest native land mammal – the majestic Red Deer and feed a small herd of them in the safety of our Safari Ranger.
Day 6 – After breakfast, we head home taking away wonderful memories with us.
