DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – We travel to the Hotel Pinger in Remagen.
Day 2 – Today we have arranged a journey on the Drachenfels Railway – this historic rack railway is one of only four still in operation in Germany and runs from Königswinter to the stunning Drachenfels Mountain. After our incredible journey, we enjoy a boat ride on Königswinter to Linz am Rhein – situated on the banks of the River Rhein.
Day 3 – Enjoy free time in Remagen. Alternatively, join us for an optional excursion to the incredible Ahr Valley. This full day visit will include a return journey on the Ahr Valley Train,
entrance and a tour and tasting at Mayschoss Wine Cellar and a delightful horse drawn carriage ride through the Mönchsberg vineyard.
Day 4 – This morning we visit Aachen for some free time. It is Germany’s most westerly city and is home to a
magnificent Cathedral – the first monument in Germany to be included in the UNESCO Cultural Heritage list – and a Gothic City hall. On our way back to the hotel, we’ll take you to the Lindt Chocolate Warehouse, here you will find gorgeous Lindt chocolates at a very reduced rate.
Day 5 – After breakfast we begin our return journey home.
