Today we will visit beautiful Bakewell for their traditional market day! Located on Market Street and Granby Road, the Bakewell market is the only market like this that takes place in the Peak District National Park and hosts 162 stalls selling traditional crafts and locally produced food.

Florimania will take place in the King’s Apartments over the Mothers’ Day weekend, and this year’s theme is entitled “Embroidered Treasures of Hampton Court Palace”. The display will showcase floral-themed items from the collections of both Historic Royal Palaces and the Royal School of Needlework, with key elements of each treasure being interpreted by a beautiful accompanying arrangement of flowers.
