LANHYDROCK HOUSE
& GARDENS (HALF DAY) - Set in 900-acres of parkland running down to the Fowey River and encircled by formal and woodland gardens, Lanhydrock dates to the 17th century and was once a family home. It now serves as the headquarters of the National Trust in Cornwall. There are fifty rooms to explore, from elegant and spacious dining rooms and bedrooms to kitchens, nurseries, and servant's quarters. The beautifully landscaped gardens also feature native woodland and a thatched gardener's cottage with views of Bodmin Moor.
NEWQUAY
(HALF DAY) - Located on Cornwall's Atlantic Coast, Newquay has previously been voted as "One of the Nation's Favourite Seaside Towns" in the prestigious Which Holiday Survey, and recently won Gold for "Best Seaside Towns for Families 2019" by Coast Magazine. Perhaps jump on the famous Land Train for a unique and fun journey through the centre of town, past the Trenance Gardens and Boating Lake towards Newquay's stunning beaches.
TREBAH GARDENS
(HALF DAY) - Trebah Gardens is a uniquely beautiful, subtropical paradise that descends to its own beach on the beautiful Helford River. Rated amongst the 80 finest gardens in the World, explore under canopies bursting with exotic blooms and discover the magic of this beautiful Cornish Garden.
MEVAGISSEY
& LOST GARDENS OF HELIGAN (FULL DAY) - We travel to the charming fishing port of Mevagissey for free time. Later, we visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan, with admission included. This 'secret garden' was accidently re-discovered in 1992 from under decades of tangled weeds. Here you can explore 200 acres of garden history, mystery and romance which having been lost to the brambles since the outbreak of World War I, have become Europe's largest garden restoration project and is today one of the finest in England.
Ideally located just 200 yards from Tolcarne Beach, the Barrowfield Hotel is a short 10-minute walk from Newquay town centre. The entertainment room features live acts every night and the spacious lounge offers plenty of space to relax in.
