DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – Following our pick-up’s we travel to Stratford-Upon-Avon where we will enjoy some time at leisure before continuing to our hotel. Most famously the birthplace of William Shakespeare, this thriving market town has more than 800 years of history to explore.
Day 2 – After breakfast we visit the horticultural village of Badsey. Perhaps visit the Wayside Farm Shop & Tea Rooms which makes specialist produce for the Pershore Plum Festival including jams, scones, chutneys, cakes and fudge. This afternoon we travel to Bretforton where we will spend the remainder of the day. Once part of the farmland of Evesham Abbey, Bretforton has a history of marketing gardening and is the largest farming village around Evesham. Home to the award-winning Fleece Inn, owned by the National Trust, the village is sprinkled with a range of pretty, historical buildings including a Jacobean Manor House, a Gothic Hall and a Church dating back to the 13th Century. Afterwards we continue to Avon where we have organised a relaxing sightseeing river cruise with cream tea served on board.
Day 3 – Enjoy a day at leisure today.
Day 4 – This morning we visit Pershore, this unspoilt, picturesque market town is renowned for its independent shops and atmospheric market – which you can explore in your own time. Later, we will be joined on the coach by a knowledgeable guide who will accompany us as we journey along the Evesham Blossom Trail – which promises to be a fascinating feast for your eyes!
Travelling from Pershore, we’ll continue through Fladbury and Wickhamford towards Broadway – often referred to as the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’ because of its sheer beauty – past Childwickham, Bredon Hill, Elmley Castle and Little Comberton until we return back towards Evesham.
Day 5 – After a leisurely breakfast, we take you to The Valley. Set within 125-acres of stunning countryside, The Valley is a great shopping destination with a mix of designer brand names and unique shops. After some free time, we continue our way back to the East Midlands.
