During Your Stay
Day 1 – We travel to Cambridge located on the River Cam, famed for its historic University, buildings and the beautiful King’s College Chapel. Later we arrive at our hotel where a delicious festive afternoon tea will be served.
Day 2 – Shortly after breakfast we take you to Woodbridge for free time. Located on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this beautiful and vibrant market town offers excellent shopping opportunities with superb pubs and restaurants. After a little free time, we visit Clacton before returning to the hotel to get ready for tonight’s special Gala dinner and New Year’s Eve celebrations!
Day 3 – Nestled on the riverbank by an ancient bridge, framed by weeping willows today you can enjoy a peaceful day at leisure, to do as much (or as little) as you wish. The Mill Hotel is a beautifully converted watermill with remarkable original features, among them the waterwheel itself – an atmospheric centrepiece in the restaurant and relaxing bar. If you did want to pop out for a walk the hotel is within minutes of some of the most picturesque villages and England’s loveliest countryside. Today a 2-course lunch will also be served before our evening meal.
Day 4 – This morning we visit Bury St. Edmunds for free time. Described as a “unique historical gem” this town is best known for its striking combination of medieval architecture, elegant Georgian squares and a glorious Cathedral.
