DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – With comfort stops along the way, we’ll travel to our excellent hotel in Kamp Bornhofen – one of the most beautiful landscapes in Germany.
Day 2 – Today we’ll visit Cochem and Koblenz – one of the most beautiful and oldest towns in Germany. These two picture‐perfect towns are surrounded by stunning natural beauty; Cochem is regarded as the most romantic part of the Moselle Valley, whilst Koblenz, a 2000 year old town, has an abundance of cultural monuments and historical buildings.
Day 3 – Relax as we take you into enchanting Rudesheim for free time. Located in the Rhine River gorge, Rudesheim is a picturesque winemaking town (most famous for its production of Asbach Brandy that has been in production since 1892). Complete with narrow cobblestone alleys and timber‐framed taverns, Drosselgasse is Rudesheim’s main street and a stroll along here almost feels like you’ve stepped back in time. This afternoon, we take you to Wiesbaden, for the remainder of the day. In the 19th century the city was planned to be a place of well‐being, luxury and beauty – and that’s exactly what it turned out to be! Today you can enjoy exploring the city’s grand architecture from neo‐classical to Art Nouveau. Later this afternoon, we’ll return to the hotel where you can prepare for this evening’s New Year’s Eve festivities! Our evening meal will be followed by a magnificent firework display put on by our hosts – the Wagner family!
Day 4 – We’ll spend our New Year’s Day at leisure in the comfort of the Hotel Wagner. After breakfast, perhaps enjoy a scenic walk into Kamp‐Bornhofen, this friendly village offers traditional timber0framed buildings home to charming cafés, restaurants and shops in a laid‐back environment.
Day 5 – We retrace our footsteps back through Germany and into France where we board our ferry at Calais for our return sailing home.
