DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – We travel to our first overnight hotel with comfort stops along the way.
Day 2 – After breakfast we continue our journey enjoying a leisurely stop in Fort William. After some free time, we then travel north past Eilean Donan Castle, the second most photographed castle in Scotland and to the Isle of Skye where our next hotel is based – the Kings Arms Hotel.
Day 3 – After a magnificent drive across Skye, we catch the ferry across to North Uist. This
afternoon we take a scenic coastal drive of the Uists, passing lochs and golden beaches before checking in to our hotel – the Isle of Benbecula House Hotel.
Day 4 – We sail over to Lewis and Harris, the largest of the Hebridean Islands. This rugged landscape of deep‐sea lochs and mountains retains a proud history dating back to prehistoric times. Here we will enjoy a two-night half-board stay at the 4* Caberfeidh Hotel in Stornaway.
Day 5 – Today we have arranged a full day tour of Lewis and Harris with an experienced island guide. A local coach will pick us up at the hotel and take us around the best bits of the Isle. During the day we will visit the impressive 5,000-year-old standing stones of Callanish and the imposing Carloway Broch – a fortified tower dating back over 2,000 years. Also included is entrance into the Black House Museum of ancient thatched settlements.
Day 6 – This morning, we catch the ferry to Ullapool and travel to Inverness, the ‘Capital of the Highlands’. After free time we enjoy a drive south through the picturesque Spey Valley and reach our overnight hotel.
Day 7 – After an amazing trip filled with lots of incredible sights, we travel home.
