DURING YOUR STAY

Day 1 – Enjoy a leisurely journey to our hotel in Eastbourne, with comfort stops en‐route.

Day 2 – We begin our day at Beachy Head, the UK’s highest chalk sea cliffs! These spectacular cliff tops provide panoramic views and after a photo opportunity we continue our scenic journey along the coast towards Brighton. We recommend visiting The Royal Pavilion, a palace like no other with an Indian styled exterior and a Chinese inspired interior. Perhaps also visit the Brighton Palace Pier, home to a variety of eateries and free deckchairs, so you can relax and enjoy the view. This afternoon we visit the traditional seaside town of Worthing, where we will spend the remainder of the day.

Day 3 – Today you are free to explore as much (or as little) of Eastbourne as you like. Located on the seafront overlooking the famous flower decked promenade bandstand and beautiful Victorian pier, our hotel is located perfectly to help you get the most out of your free day. The Eastbourne Lifeboat Museum and the Winter Gardens are a leisurely walk away or perhaps you’d prefer Eastbourne’s Miniature Steam Railway.

Day 4 – After breakfast we visit Herstmonceux Castle, Gardens & Grounds. Set within 300‐acres of carefully managed woodland with themed formal gardens, this 15th century moated castle embodies the history of medieval England and the romance of renaissance Europe. Afterwards, we visit Hastings, home to the largest beach‐launched fishing fleet in Europe and where the remains of the first castle in England to be built by William the Conqueror is preserved.

Day 5 – All aboard! Re‐visit the romantic age of the Steam Engine with a return journey on

the Bluebell Line Railway. One of the first preserved heritage lines in the country and home to one of the finest collections of vintage steam locomotives from British Railways. We travel to Borde Hill Gardens, where you can enjoy a little free time. Borde Hill is a stunningly beautiful and botanically rich heritage garden in the heart of Sussex.

Day 6 ‐ We travel home with a couple of refreshment stops en‐route.
