DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – This morning we travel to Chester to soak up the seasonal atmosphere amidst the shops and famous Black and White Rows for which the city is famous, before travelling to our hotel in Llandudno. On arrival, enjoy a welcome drink and mince pies.
Day 2 – This morning we explore the Isle of Anglesey, which is situated off the north coast of Wales. During our excursion we will visit ‘Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch,’ the longest place name in Britain, and Beaumaris. This afternoon, we visit Caernarfon – home to Wales’ most famous castle which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we have arranged a visit to the local pantomime (Oh yes we have!) Afterwards, we will return to our comfortable hotel for dinner and entertainment.
Day 3 – Spend Christmas Day in the comfort and warmth of our glittering Baytree Hotel surrounded by new friends. Later sherry and mince pies will be served as we wait for our very special guest – Father Christmas, who will be bringing a gift for each passenger. Today, there will also be a banquet lunch and dinner then in the evening festive entertainment.
Day 4 –Escape the crowds with us on Boxing Day as we take you on an enchanting journey exploring the winter wonderland of Snowdonia National Park. We drive through the Vale of Conwy and the lovely village of Betws-y-Coed, past the bridge of the Cauldron, Swallow Falls, Capel Curig and into Llanberis Pass overlooked by Mount Snowdon. We will return to the hotel via a visit to Conwy. Designated as World Heritage Site most famous for its magnificent 13th century Castle, it is also home to the smallest house in Britain – known as the Quay House.
Day 5 – After breakfast ‘yule’ be taken to the little town of Llangollen, where we have arranged a very special journey for you. All aboard the Llangollen Railway, where your decorated carriage awaits ready to transport you back in time. Sit back and relax with a mince pie and mulled wine during the journey. Afterwards, we will return home.
