DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – Our first stop today is Worcester. The City is best known for its magnificent Cathedral, but it is also famous for the world renowned Worcester Porcelain and the most picturesque cricket ground in the country! After some free time, we complete our journey to the hotel.
Day 2 – Today we will take you into the city of Gloucester for free time. A day here wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the 11th century Gloucester Cathedral, resting place of King Edward II, home to the majestic Great East Window and recently a popular film and television location. Most famously it has been used to shoot scenes in Harry Potter, Sherlock, Wolf Hall and Doctor Who.
Day 3 – After breakfast we visit one of the country’s great gardens for free time. Hidcote Manor is an arts and crafts garden in the north Cotswolds, created by American horticulturist, Major Lawrence Johnston. Explore the maze of narrow paved pathways and discover its colourful secret gardens and magnificent vistas. This afternoon we travel to the quaint villages of Stow-on-the-Wolds and Bourton-on-the-Water. These two quintessential English towns sit elegantly at the heart of the Cotswolds and offer visitors a peaceful escape, boasting mellow Cotswolds stone houses, craft shops and cafés they are the perfect destinations to sit and watch the world go by.
Day 4 – Enjoy a relaxing morning in the comfort of the hotel. Later, we will take you to Cheltenham for a little free time before continuing our journey home.
