DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – Board our coach for a leisurely journey to our resort.
Day 2 – Our first stop today is at a local Garden Farm before visiting Cowes; uniquely split into two halves by the River Medina, Cowes is steeped in rich maritime history which has literally shaped the town! After some free time, we travel to Godshill, here we visit Old Smithy and Gardens – after a stroll around the colourful gardens perhaps pop into the coffee shop before exploring Godshill. This quintessential English village boasts some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight.
Day 3/4 – Enjoy the next two days at leisure; Sandown sits on the Southern coast of the Isle of Wight, sheltered in a beautiful bay its renowned for its stretches of golden sandy beaches and home to a traditional British seafront and pier. With one of the highest concentrations of dinosaur fossils found anywhere in the world head to the dinosaur museum, visit the local Zoo – built within the ruins of a Victorian fort – or enjoy a peaceful walk along the Esplanade until you reach Yaverland Beach, which is regarded as one of the Islands best beaches.
Day 5 – We hit the road today for a full day of exploration around the Island. Throughout the day we will visit the iconic Needles, home to a famous chairlift as well as Alum Bay, renowned for its picturesque sand cliffs. We also go to Freshwater Bay, home to one of the prettiest beaches in the Isle of Wight before we travel back to the hotel.
Day 6 – We arrive back at our hotel, one of the most visited houses in Britain, originally designed by Queen Victoria’s beloved Prince Albert. Set in acres of beautiful grounds and ornamental rose gardens. It’s easy to see why this house was one of Queen Victoria’s favourite places.
Day 7 – We bid a fond farewell taking home great memories and great new friends.
