Celebrating his extraordinary and incredibly important life, Nelson Mandela: The Official Exhibition is set to debut at London’s 26 Leake Street (near Waterloo Station) in February 2019. Marking the start of a major global tour, the exhibition includes previously unseen artefacts celebrating 100 years since Mandela’s birth.
The exhibition delves into the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela, designed to educate, entertain and inspire. It celebrates the impact of the lawyer, revolutionary, prisoner and eventual world leader.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get up close to artefacts that have never before left his native South Africa, presented alongside immersive presentations and re-creations.
Nelson Mandela: The Official Exhibition unfolds over several experiential zones, from rural Mvezo, Transkei, through his battle with the now globally condemned apartheid regime, to his life as South Africa’s first black president
