NORTH YORKSHIRE MOOR
(FULL DAY): Today we enjoy a scenic journey exploring the North York Moors, travelling via Danby and Rosedale Abbey, we visit Pickering for some free time. This thriving, vibrant market town is packed with exciting things to see and do, including: the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Medieval Castle, Beck Isle Museum and the stunning Saxon Church.
WHITBY
(FULL DAY): The ancient fishing port of Whitby, famous for it's connections with Bram Stoker and where he is said to have got his inspiration for Dracula - you might chose to the opportunity to climb the 199 steps from the old town to the churchyard of St Mary's or visit the Capt Cook Memorial Museum, located in the 17th century harbour side house where he served his apprenticeship.
CASTLE HOWARD
(FULL DAY): Enjoy a truly magical visit to Castle Howard. Experience the magnificent decorations as you journey through the House's grand state rooms. Open fires, candle light and live music evoke all that we love about this special time of year, with the iconic 25 foot Christmas tree adorned with over 3000 baubles providing a breath-taking highlight in the Great Hall.
Overlooking Whitby Harbour, The Royal Hotel is situated opposite the famous Whalebone Arch in the West Cliff area of Whitby. With breath-taking views of Whitby Abbey, the property offers a bar, restaurant, a ballroom, and Wi-Fi in public areas. Guestrooms include a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
