Cornish Summer Splendour feat the Isles of Scilly

TRURO &

MEVAGISSEY (FULL DAY): As the UK's most southerly city, this great little place offers a unique shopping experience, as well as the impressive Truro Cathedral with its gothic towers which dominate the skyline. We also visit the quintessential fishing village of Mevagissey whose narrow streets and attractive harbour were once the centre of Cornwall's Pilchard industry.

NEWQUAY

(FULL DAY): Located on Cornwall's Atlantic Coast, Newquay was voted as "one of the nation's favourite seaside towns" in the Which? Magazine Holiday Survey. After a brisk walk on some of Cornwall's finest beaches, why not head to Newquay Zoo, or the Blue Reef Aquarium?

THE ISLES OF SCILLY

ST MARY'S (FULL DAY): Following an early start we travel to Penzance where we board the ferry for our sailing to the Isles of Scilly - be sure to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, such as dolphins, puffins and even the odd basking shark that might appear during the voyage! St Mary's is the largest island in the archipelago and the coastline features large stretches of deserted white sandy beaches, dramatic rocky coves, stunning seascapes, amazing archaeological sites, beautiful walks, and scenery along miles of coastal and country paths and natural trails. A late afternoon sailing back to Penzance where our coach will be waiting to take us the short distance back to our hotel. NB. Due to the late return dinner is not included tonight.
