BEACHY HEAD
BRIGHTON & WORTHING (FULL DAY) - We travel via Beachy Head, famous for its spectacular white cliffs and dramatic coastline created by the Seven Sisters landmark. After a photo opportunity, we head to the famous seaside city of Brighton. Brighton has a wealth of attractions, from the exotic Royal Pavilion to the British Airways i360 observation tower. But, of course, a coastal day out would only be complete with a visit to Brighton Palace Pier or the Sea Life Centre, the World's Oldest Aquarium. Our final stop for the day is the seaside resort of Worthing.
EASTBOURNE
(FREE DAY) - With our hotel overlooking the seafront, you're just a short walk away from the best of Eastbourne. The flower-laden promenade, bandstand and pier are on your doorstep, whilst other highlights include the Eastbourne Lifeboat Museum, and the Winter Gardens are close to hand. However, if you want to explore more, why not travel on Eastbourne's Miniature Steam Railway or an open-top bus throughout the town and seafront?
HERSTMONCEUX CASTLE
& HASTINGS (FULL DAY) - We visit Herstmonceux Castle, Gardens & Grounds. This 15th-century moated castle embodies the history of medieval England and the romance of renaissance Europe. Get lost in the acres of formal gardens before we visit the Cinque Port of Hastings. Home to the largest beach?launched fishing fleet in Europe, you'll find the remains of William the Conqueror's first castle in England overlooking this stunning beach resort from the cliffside.
BLUEBELL LINE
RAILWAY & BORDE HILL GARDENS (FULL DAY) - All aboard! Revisit the romantic age of the Steam Engine with a journey on the Bluebell Line Railway, home to one of the finest collections of vintage steam locomotives from British Railways. We also visit Borde Hill Gardens, where you can enjoy some free time exploring this stunningly beautiful and botanically rich heritage garden in the heart of Sussex.
SEAFRONT HOTEL
Situated in a whitewashed 19th-century building opposite Eastbourne's seafront and bandstand, this classic hotel is just a few minutes walk from Eastbourne's pier. The comfortable bedrooms have TVs and tea/coffee-making facilities, with most having sea views.
