Found a short distance from the seafront, you can stroll through the beautiful Victorian Ventnor Park, leading to the famous Botanic Gardens at the Undercliff.

COWES

& OSBORNE HOUSE (FULL DAY) - The Mecca for yachters, Cowes is home to the world's oldest and biggest sailing regatta! Take in this fine town with a lively marina, seafront promenade and fine views over the Solent. Later, we visit Queen Victoria's Osborne House, her beloved seaside retreat. Here you'll take an intimate glimpse into Victoria and Albert's family life as you marvel at the magnificence of the Royal Apartments. Why not step onto Queen Victoria's private beach, just a pleasant twenty-minute stroll from the palace?

SHANKLIN

(FREE DAY) - Set against dramatic sandstone cliffs, Shanklin has all the charm of a traditional seaside resort. Enjoy a stunning walk along the beach or the history and independent shopping of the old town; the choice is yours!

THE NEEDLES

& YARMOUTH (FULL DAY) - We visit the iconic Needles at Alum Bay this morning. One of the most photographed rock formations in the world, this site is renowned for stunning views across the Solent. Afterwards, we will take you to the quirky resort of Yarmouth, a historic port. Sitting on the mouth of the River Yar, you'll find a marina containing some of the island's oldest architecture, a sixteenth-century castle and a Victorian pier.

GODSHILL

& DONKEY SANCTUARY (HALF DAY) - This morning, we take you to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, giving donkeys a loving home in the Wroxall Valley. Later, we travel to Godshill. One of the most photographed destinations on the Isle of Wight, this glorious village is home to thatched-roofed cottages and a range of shops selling local produce, such as ciders, pickles and biscuits.

RYDE, SOUTHSEA

& ISLE OF WIGHT HOVERCRAFT (OPTIONAL FULL DAY) - Much loved by Queen Victoria, why not join us today for this optional excursion to Ryde, one of the UK's original seaside destinations? You'll find a quirky mix of traditional seaside fun, Victorian architecture and home to long, spacious stretches of sandy beaches. The day also includes a thrilling 'flight' on the Isle of Wight Hovercraft - the world's only year-round passenger hovercraft service! Transporting you back to the mainland, you will have some free time in Southsea before our return 'fight' back.
