LLANDUDNO & CONWY
(FULL DAY) - Developed as an upmarket seaside holiday town for its Edwardian and Victorian visitors, Llandudno is now Wales’ largest resort, uniquely situated near the stunning Great Orme. Home to a magnificent promenade, traditional tearooms, a heritage pier and boutique shops. Later, we visit Conwy. Designated as a World Heritage Site, the town is most famous for its magnificent 13th-century castle and walls, quaint harbour, and revolutionary Victorian suspension bridge.
MOLD
(FREE DAY) - An attractive and busy market town located east of the Clwydian Mountain range, Mold’s most notable building is the historic 15th-century St Mary’s church, rebuilt by Margaret Beaufort in honour of her son Henry VII, the first Tudor king of England. Wednesday brings a weekly market when over seventy stall holders from all over Wales gather for a vibrant and eclectic event.
SNOWDON MOUNTAIN
RAILWAY & LLANBERIS (FULL DAY) - After a brief visit to Betws-Y-Coed, we visit Llanberis, where we board a return journey on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Described as one of the most unique journeys in the world, this railway takes you up Mt Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales. Afterwards, you can explore Llanberis, a traditional Welsh mining town, in your free time.
Set in the beautiful North Welsh countryside, Beaufort Park Hotel is an independently run hotel situated close to the historic market town of Mold. It offers comfortable bedrooms, a restaurant and a relaxed bar.
