INVERARY

& BENMORE BOTANIC GARDENS (FULL DAY) - Overlooking the still waters of Loch Fyne, Inveraray is a traditional county town of Argyll. The enchanted Inveraray Castle, the fairytale home of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll, is one of the town's main attractions. We also visit Benmore Botanic Gardens; these gardens feature a world-famous collection of plants from East Asia and the Himalayas to North and South America.

OBAN

(FREE DAY) - Oban, the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland', is a beautiful place to spend the day. For stunning views, head to 'McCraig's Tower', this colosseum lookalike stands proudly above Oban and provides views over the town.

ISLE OF MULL & IONA

(FULL DAY) - Following an early start, we set sail via the Isle of Mull to the unique island of Iona. Steeped in magnificent Scottish history, the small graveyard next to the abbey is thought to be the final resting place of almost fifty medieval kings, including the legendary Macbeth! Later, we return to the Isle of Mull and head to Tobermory, the island's capital. Tobermory was built as a fishing port in the late 18th century and is now a picture postcard of a place with brightly painted buildings along the main street towards the pier surrounded by high woodland-fringed hills. Late afternoon, we sail back to Oban for a late dinner this evening back at the hotel.
