WINDERMERE

STEAM GONDOLA CRUISE (FULL DAY) - A full day exploring the southern Lakes - including visits to Windermere and some of the most picturesque villages in England - Coniston and the delightful Hawkshead. We also include a journey on a restored Victorian steam-powered yacht on Coniston Water; initially built in 1859, it's now in the care of the National Trust.

KENDAL

(FREE DAY) - Enjoy a free day to explore the beautiful market town of Kendal. Full of historical character, Kendal is home to a web of interweaving alleyways and cobbled yards. Discover a castle, farm shops, weekly markets, local bakeries and brewers, all situated on the banks of the River Kent and just a short walk away from our centrally-located hotel. Don't forget to sample the local produce including the famous Kendal Mint Cake too!

NORTHERN LAKES

- ULLSWATER, PATTERDALE & KIRKSTONE PASS (FULL DAY) - We enjoy a journey around the northern lakes; sit back and relax as we pass rugged mountains, lakes and villages, past the tranquil waters of Ullswater to Patterdale and over the magnificent Kirkstone Pass.

The County Hotel 3*, Kendal

Set in a former coaching inn, the County Hotel is in the centre of Kendal and offers traditional meals and cooked breakfasts. The bright and airy guest rooms each have a cosy seating area and feature tea/coffee facilities.
