DAY 1
We travel to Carlisle to board the world-famous Settle to Carlisle Railway. Running through some of the most attractive scenery in the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbrian Fells, the Settle - Carlisle Railway is renowned for its Victorian architecture, huge stone viaducts and long tunnels. Afterwards we have some free time in Settle before we continue to our overnight hotel.
DAY 2
After breakfast we visit Southport for free time. Situated on the Sefton coast, Southport is a great coastal resort home to scenic parks and gardens, fabulous shopping and mouth-watering
restaurants! Perhaps stroll down the UK's oldest pier and try the old penny slot machines in the Pavillion before we begin our journey home via the enchanting Peak District.
