Excursions to Gretna Green, Edinburgh & Stirling

DAY 1

On our journey North, we travel to Gretna Green; here, you will have a couple of hours to explore the UK's most popular wedding destination and it's famous Blacksmiths Shop before we continue to our hotel.

DAY 2

After breakfast, we visit the Scottish capital Edinburgh, with its imposing castle, Holyrood Palace and the world-famous Queen Street - a mile containing Scotland's best shops and restaurants.

DAY 3

Today, we visit Scotland's ancient capital, Stirling, the site of the famous 'Battle of Bannockburn' and home to a magnificent medieval castle and abbey. After free time, we return home.

Rob Roy Hotel 2*, Aberfoyle

Set in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, Rob Roy is just a short stroll along the banks of the River Forth to the famous village of Aberfoyle. This hotel has excellent food, friendly staff, and spacious bedrooms with tea and coffee-making facilities.
