DRIVING ACADEMY & Careers

We operate approximately 80 coaches and employ about 150 drivers, providing holidays and excursions in Europe and the UK. Our fleet offers state of the art vehicles providing the highest standards in luxury travel. We are always looking for suitable candidates to join our team of well respected and professional drivers. Whatever your level of experience in coaching, there could be a place here for you. Many of our most experienced and long-serving drivers have started with a fresh licence and are now tour drivers on holidays and excursions.

PCV Drivers (PT & FT)

Looking for a new challenge? We employ a combination of full-time, part-time and seasonal drivers throughout the year.

We look for drivers who enjoy dealing with people and are able to communicate well. They must be clean, smart and polite – giving a good impression of the company. We like people to have enthusiasm and be able to see an unexpected problem as an interesting challenge. A positive attitude is essential. A good geographical knowledge is a distinct advantage for drivers wanting to take on tour work. Being able to accurately follow both written and verbal instructions is important, as is completing reports and forms.

We employ a combination of full-time, part-time and seasonal drivers throughout the year.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a clean PCV licence.

Continental holiday planner

Are you ambitious and have previous experience working in a Travel and Tourism focused environment? If so, we'd like to hear from you!

As a result of organic and acquisitive growth, we are inviting applications for a Continental Holiday Planner in our Holidays department based at our HQ in Nottingham.

As a Holiday Planner, you will have a strong commercial awareness as well as previous experience of working in a customer-focused environment. You will lead product innovation for your designated brand utilising destination information and the data available ensuring that product quality meets the expectations of our customers. You will be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

You will have overall responsibility for your designated brand taking sole ownership for improving profitability with an ability to identify opportunities that will grow the business and further advance your career and promotion.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • You will work with marketing, sales and data analytic functions to capture business requirements, plan product features and evaluate product performance alongside key KPIs. You will manage product planning through identifying, analysing and implementing game changing innovations as well as improve existing product performance by using analytics to identify incremental enhancements.
  • Monitoring key competitor activity and taking action to maximise competitive advantage, proactively looking for innovative ways to develop and promote designated products and increase profitability.
  • Producing plans for the designated product including budgeted passengers, volumes and sales, providing monthly product forecasts and adjust plans according to market conditions.
  • Identify opportunities to drive optimum product placement across channels.
  • Ensuring a full understanding of end to end customer experience and feedback to enhance this further to ensure continuous improvements.
  • Monitoring quality to ensure issues are resolved quickly and where necessary changes are communicated to customers quickly and clearly whilst minimising further change.
  • Ensuring all policy and legal documents are adhered to by operating within a framework of compliance, which protects customers and team and minimises risk to the business, ensuring that all products selected meet the agreed company standards of quality, health and safety.
  • Identifying new product opportunities and ensuring that they are fully researched, cost calculated developed and implemented in an agreed timescale in line with the company's strategic objectives and the brand strategies outlined.

HOLIDAY Product administrator

The role will provide general administration assistance to the product planning team in all aspects of on-going activities and projects relating to developing the business which will demand the performance of a wide variety of tasks and actions adopting a flexible approach towards any required task or action. 

 

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Hotel & attractions cancellations & documentation
  • Tie up hotel contract documents & ensure quality management and health & safety documentation completed satisfactorily
  • Book attractions, raise relevant payments/cheques/vouchers
  • Book theatre tickets with on-going supplier dialogue with for extra/refunded tickets
  • Update hotels & suppliers on sales booking progress, prepare & send passenger rooming lists when required
  • Check and sign off hotel & supplier invoices
  • Loading holiday products onto the T3 reservation system
  • Help to maintain and update the company web sites ensuring that all product and pricing is loaded accurately maintaining appropriate quality control audits.
  • Prepare drivers packs & ensure all relevant data updated and enclosed
  • Disseminate completed, post tour packs, logging relevant data and actioning drivers’ tour reports
  • Prepare the weekly movement sheet of departures and circulate to relevant departments
  • Take customer bookings over the phone along with balances and deal with any queries effectively
  • Any other tasks as required and deemed to be within the capability of the post holder
  • Perform a general ambassadorial role for the company in relation to all internal and external contact
  • Assist the Director(s) of The Company in all and every aspect of the daily workings of the business.

You will be required to work on a rotating shift basis with our friendly engineering team at our purpose built engineering facility based at our Head Office in Bulwell.

There will be the opportunity to gain industry standard IRTEC accreditation plus other training opportunities.

A PCV license is desired although full training can be provided for the successful candidate.

Excellent rates of pay and enrolment in company pension scheme available.
