Day 1 – Our first stop today is the towering city of Oxford, boasting 1,500 listed buildings from British architectural history has left the centre looking like an enchanted fairy-tale city, and is the ideal destination to enjoy a spot of lunch. After some free time we continue to our hotel in Southampton where a welcome drink and a mince pie will be waiting for us!
Day 2 – Today we visit the charming village of Beaulieu, here we have included entrance into the award-winning National Motor Museum, renowned for its collection of vintage cars and motorcycles.
Day 3 – After a leisurely breakfast enjoy the wonderful festivities going on throughout the day in the warmth and comfort of our hotel. Feast on a traditional Christmas Day lunch surrounded by all the charm and elegance of a Grade 1 listed manor house; enjoy drinks in the bar with friends before a buffet dinner this evening followed by a night of entertainment.
Day 4 – Enjoy a half-day to Winchester, an unspoilt cathedral city on the edge of the South Downs National Park. Winchester is England’s ancient capital, former seat of King Alfred the Great and perhaps most famous for its Jane Austen connections, one of the world’s most famous authors.
Day 5 – We bid a fond farewell and begin our journey home, enjoying a leisurely break in Oxford along the way.
