One of the most beautiful regions in Italy, Tuscany is famed for its breath-taking rolling landscapes, medieval towns and beautiful coasts. On this tour we visit a treasure of great places including Florence, Italy’s city of art and culture, Pisa, home to the famous leaning tower, one of the world’s most famous landmarks, graceful Lucca, birthplace of Puccini and Siena, which charms its visitors with an array of fine architecture.

Day 1 – Following early morning pickups we drive to Dover to meet our ferry which will transport us across to Calais. After disembarkation we continue to our overnight hotel.

Day 2 – After breakfast we continue to Tuscany and our resort of Montecatini for 6 nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 3 – This morning we visit Pisa, home to one of the world’s most famous landmarks, the renowned Leaning Tower. After a photo opportunity and some free time we continue to the Roman City of Lucca. Surrounded by a medieval wall, you can wander safely through the traffic free alleyways and squares that inspired one of Italy’s greatest composers, Puccini.       

Day 4 – Montecatini Terme, the biggest spa town in Italy has plenty to keep you amused allowing you to do as much or as little as you like today.

Day 5 – Today visit one of Tuscany’s most popular towns, Florence. Florence is laden with cultural attractions and charm. Medieval streets depict a thousand tales and museums and churches safeguard the world’s greatest collection of Renaissance art.  

Day 6 – After breakfast we visit Siena, recognisable from the James Bond movie “Quantum of Solace.” In the heart of the city is the beautiful ‘Piazza del Campo’, ‘Fonte Gaia’ the largest fountain of the city and the town hall.

 Day 7 – Enjoy another day at leisure to enjoy your beautiful surroundings. Alternatively join us for an optional excursion to San Gimignano (£15 to be paid at time of booking, minimum numers required). 

Day 8 – We leave Tuscany and retrace our footsteps through Europe.

Day 9 – After breakfast we leave our overnight hotel and begin the journey home.
