DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – Our first stop today is the medieval city of Salisbury, where we spend a couple of hours at leisure. Known as the ‘City in the Countryside’, Salisbury is surrounded by a luscious green landscape, the city itself is home to the famous Magna Carta, historic streets and some of England’s finest historic houses and museums. We arrive at our hotel later today.
Day 2 – This morning we visit Lyme Regis; set against moody blue cliffs, this historic seaside town is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where the rugged west Dorset and east Dorset coastlines meet – at the heart of the Jurassic Coast. Of course, no visit is complete without a stroll along its historic Cobb, dating back to the 13th century. Later, enjoy a relaxing afternoon back at the hotel and perhaps take advantage of the on-site spa* available to guests.
Day 3 – After a leisurely morning, we visit Weymouth – one of the UK’s most beautiful seaside resorts, blessed with one of the sunniest and warmest climates. The town offers a great mix of beautiful beaches, rich heritage and top-visitor attractions which you can enjoy in your own time today.
Day 4 – Today we enjoy a full day excursion visiting the beautiful seaside resorts of Poole and Bournemouth. Poole is known for Europe’s largest natural harbour, award-winning blue flag beaches (including the world-famous Sandbanks Beach), a bustling quayside and a beautiful historic old town. While Bournemouth is a vibrant and colourful resort with a cosmopolitan and cultural town centre.
Day 5 – After breakfast, feeling refreshed and relaxed we re-board the coach and enjoy a leisurely journey back to the East Midlands.
