DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – We enjoy a leisurely journey to our hotel with time to settle in before this evening’s dinner
Day 2 – This morning we have included a return steam-hauled journey on the Bluebell Line Railway, the UK’s first preserved standard gauge passenger railway. After this we take you to Bentley Wildfowl & Motor museum, where you can explore the wildfowl collection, Motor Museum, Miniature Railway and gift shop.
Day 3 – Enjoy time at leisure in Eastbourne, afternoon tea will be served in the hotel today.
Day 4 – Our first stop today is the picturesque Scotney Castle, where we have included admission. Scotney Castle is in fact two houses – a ‘new’ house which was designed by Anthony Salvin and built in 1837 in an Elizabethan style and the romantic ruins of a medieval castle and moat. After a little free time, we then visit Sedlescombe Organic vineyard for an informative tour through 3 vineyards located in an ancient English woodland, followed by a tutored tasting in the ‘Bar-in-the-Barn’ before returning to our hotel for the evening.
Day 5 – Today we take you to Brighton for free time, perhaps head to the North Laine, which is full of independent shops selling anything and everything! This walk leads to the fascinating Royal Pavillion, or head to the seafront and take flight with the British Airways i360, the city’s newest attraction.
