DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – After pick-ups, we travel to our hotel. There will be a buck’s fizz reception prior to our evening meal.
Day 2 – This morning, we journey to Penzance – famous for its history of pirates! Take a walk by the port and look out for St Michael’s Mount – a Medieval castle which stands proudly on a small tidal island. This afternoon, we visit the popular attraction of Land’s End – Britain’s most south westerly point. Enjoy some truly amazing coastal views and look out across the Atlantic Ocean (on a clear day, you can even see the Isles of Scilly). Why not have a picture with the famous Land’s End signpost? It’s the perfect memento to remember a wonderful day.
Day 3 – Today, we have a free day to explore Falmouth – a town with a fascinating maritime heritage. As you wander along the streets you start to see and feel the real creative buzz which lies within the community and you’ll find that there are many art galleries to visit.
Day 4 – We embark on an excursion to the incredible Eden Project for a full day of ecological exploration. Head over to the Rainforest Biome, which is the largest indoor rainforest in the world and is home to over 1,000 varieties of plants. Look out for the canopy walkway where you can walk amongst the treetops and keep your eyes peeled for exotic fruits growing in there, including bananas! Next, you’ll find the Mediterranean Biome where you can smell the sweet aromas of herbs in the air and wander along the Liquid Gold path admiring all of the brightly coloured flowers, vines and gnarled olive tree trunks.
Day 5 – Enjoy a full day at St Ives today. Why not stroll along the white sand at Portminster Beach? If you look out to the bay, you’ll see the wonderful view of Godrevy lighthouse which was the inspiration for the Virginia Woolf famous novel entitled The Lighthouse.
Day 6 – With fond memories, we make our way back home with a stop en-route.
