It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Each winter Birmingham welcomes the arrival of the German Christmas market – the largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria! With great food, warming drinks, traditional gifts and live entertainment throughout the day this is a festive treat not to be missed!
Day 1 – This morning we travel to Chester, shoppers are in for a magical time at the Chester Christmas market with over 70 traditional wooden chalets wrapped around a sparkling Christmas tree in the heart of the city! Grab yourself a delicious, hot mulled wine and wander amongst the twinkling, decorated stalls before we continue to our hotel.
Day 2 – After breakfast we visit Liverpool for free time. With the largest collection of museums and galleries anywhere outside of London, Liverpool’s culture and heritage are at the very heart of the city – and there’s something for everyone to enjoy! And of course, no visit here is complete without visiting the award‐winning Albert Docks, one of the UK’s finest heritage attractions.
