Day 1

After this morning’s departures, we head south towards Cornwall, where we stay for a ‘cracking’ Easter break in Newquay.

Day 2

Today promises to be a Good Friday to remember as you explore charming Newquay in your own time today. Located on Cornwall’s Atlantic Coast, Newquay is one of the nation’s premier coastal getaways with a thriving town centre and beautiful beaches loved by holidaymakers and surfers alike, all just a short walk from our hotel.

Day 3

Welcome to Land’s End. Enjoy breathtaking views over the craggy cliffs and wild waves of the Atlantic Ocean, and remember to grab a photo next to the iconic signpost, only 874 miles away from John O’Groats! From here, we travel to St Ives: take a stroll around the harbour, wander its cobbled shopping streets or take in the many art galleries found throughout the town.

Day 4

Enjoy another day in Newquay or join us for an optional Easter Sunday excursion to Looe, a true Cornish treasure, bustling resort and fishing port. From here, we head to Polperro, a beautiful fishing town with whitewashed cottages and traffic-free streets that lead to the historic harbour, cafés and gift shops.

Day 5

After breakfast, we depart and begin the journey home. Along the way, we make a short stop at Jamaica Inn, the notorious smuggler’s inn, made famous by Daphne du Maurier.

Barrowfield Hotel 3* (Newquay)

Ideally located just two hundred yards from Tolcarne Beach, the Barrowfield Hotel is a ten-minute walk from Newquay town centre. The entertainment room features live acts every night, and the spacious communal lounge offers plenty of relaxing space.
