Day 1
After pickups this morning, we travel south to our hotel on Torquay's seafront.
DDay 2
We start today with a leisurely start and a scenic drive along the 22-mile stretch of outstanding coastline which makes up Torbay; as we travel through Babbacombe and Paignton, you'll notice that each quaint resort has its own unique charm and character as we make our way to beautiful Brixham. This pretty fishing port lies in the heart of England's Seafood Coast, where you can try the freshest and most delicious fish!
B, DDay 3
This morning, we head first to Buckfast Abbey; set in a picturesque valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, it's home to a community of Roman Catholic Benedictine Monks, who live their lives of prayer, work and study. Why not explore and visit the beautiful Abbey church, colourful gardens and learn about Benedictine life in the immersive Monastic Way Exhibition. From here, we head to Plymouth where we enjoy afternoon in this vibrant regional, well known for its historic maritime heritage. Here, we recommend a stroll around the quaint cobbled streets of the Barbican, the magnificent Smeaton's Tower lighthouse and a picturesque harbour with views of the English Channel.
B, DDay 4
Enjoy today's excursion which starts in the stunning coastal town of Teignmouth. Hugging the shore where the River Teign meets the sea, this traditional seaside resort is home to a classic Victorian pier and small fishing port. This afternoon, we travel to Bovey Tracey to visit the House of Marbles; here, you'll step back in time into this majestic museum, where you can look through the collection of board games, marble games and bagatelles from as early as the 1600s. Some of these may spark a childhood memory or two!
