Complete with visits to colourful Cowes and many stunning gems of the island, the highlight of our trip is a visit to majestic Osborne House, dressed and decorated for a traditional Victorian Christmas.

Day 1

We travel south to board our ferry across the Solent and on to our hotel in Ryde on the Isle of Wight. On arrival, we enjoy a welcome drink with festive fun and fayre throughout our stay, including a traditional Christmas dinner and entertainment.

Day 2

Enjoy this morning in Cowes, the island's sailing capital and home to a lively marina and seafront promenade before our visit to Queen Victoria's Osborne House! At her beloved seaside retreat, you'll take an intimate glimpse into Victoria and Albert's family life as you marvel at the magnificence of the Royal Apartments, which has been dressed and decorated for a traditional Victorian Christmas.

Take the time to enjoy your resort of Ryde today, the largest town on the Isle of Wight and vibrant a destination that blends golden sands, independent shopping, lively nightlife, and a strong creative spirit, making it a brilliant choice for a holiday.

Day 4

Today's included excursion takes us on a tour of the island through Sandown and Shanklin for visits to the Victorian seaside town of Ventnor, picturesque Godshill, and the island's 'capital' of Newport. We return to our hotel via a visit to the award-winning Christmas World at Busy Bees Garden Centre.

Royal Esplanade Hotel 3*, Ryde

The Royal Esplanade Hotel is a characterful Victorian Grade II Listed building that has been lovingly and sympathetically restored. Located in Ryde, it is fortunate to take prime position along the Esplanade at the foot of the Victorian, Ryde Pier, known to locals as the dry end of the pier. Within easy walking distance to beautifully sandy beaches, Ryde's pretty little harbour and the many boutique shops and eateries of Ryde town.
