Day 1 – We travel across to the Chesterhouse Hotel, in Douglas on the Isle of Man where we enjoy a 4‐ night dinner, bed and breakfast stay.

Day 2 – Explore Douglas in your own time. The beautiful promenade is lined with welcoming bars and restaurants and the high street is filled with a variety of shops giving you plenty to see and do.

Day 3 – Our first visit today is to Laxley, situated on the East Coast. Here you can discover an insight into the Island’s mining heritage and view the world’s largest working waterwheel, Lady Isabella, which used to pump water in to the mines. Afterwards, we visit Ramsey, the second largest town on the Island, set against the magnificent backdrop of the North Barrule Hills. Ramsey boasts an impressive working harbour and one of the most impressive recreational spaces on the Isle of Man.

Day 4 – This morning we visit Castletown. Dating back to 1090, Castletown was originally the capital

of the island for hundreds of years and much of what the island is today started in this historic town. Castle Rushen, one of the best‐preserved medieval castles in Europe, still dominates the town. After some time to explore, we travel to Port St. Mary, situated in the south‐east of the Island. Here, you’ll find a pretty, sandy, sheltered beach and a small but busy yacht harbour with fishing and sailing boats regularly coming and going. Our final visit is to glorious Port Erin, which offers superb coastal scenery and many fine walks.

Day 5 – After a wonderful stay, we retrace our footsteps back home.
