NEW: Northern Scotland’s Majestic Castles & Highland discovery Ft the Loch Ness

A tour of the Highland’s is probably one of the most incredible journeys you could make – for many, it really is the trip of a lifetime – The best way to discover this dramatic landscape is by coach on this fascinating break filled with culture, history, architecture, stunning scenery and if you’re lucky a glimpse of Nessie!


Due to the natural of this tour, it is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Day 1 – We travel to our hotel, with plenty of comfort stops along the way.

Day 2 – After a leisurely morning we enjoy a cruise along the majestic Caledonian Canal and onto the world-famous waters of Loch Ness. Here, you will be treated to panoramic views of the Highlands, Aldourie Castle and Bona Lighthouse, built almost 200 years ago. Don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Nessie! Later, we’ll disembark at Urquhart Castle, with admission included. Offering wild natural beauty and 1,000 years of history – Urquhart Castle offers a taste of the Highlands at their most dramatic.

Day 3 –
Enjoy a day at leisure today.

Day 4 – Today our driver will drop us off in Inverness, where we will be met by an experienced and knowledgeable guide for an exciting tour of the Highlands. Travelling from Inverness we journey past the Five Sisters of Kintail – an incredible area of mountains in the Northwest Highlands – to Eilean Donan Castle, this gorgeous 13th Century castle is one of the most iconic images of Scotland. Situated on an island at the point where three great sea lochs meet, and surrounded by majestic scenery, it’s no wonder that it is one of Scotland’s most visited attractions. After some free time to explore, enjoy a light lunch in their on-site Coffee Shop. Making our way back to Inverness, we’ll pass Strathcarron and Achnasheen, a small village situated on the River Bran at the junction of two roads built by Thomas Telford.

Day 5 –
This morning we visit Dunrobin Castle with admission included. The Castle, which resembles a French chateau with its towering conical spires is one of Britain’s oldest continuously inhabited houses dating back to the early 1300s and has seen the architectural influences of Sir Charles Barry, who designed London’s Houses of Parliament, and Sir Robert Lorimer.

Day 6 –
After breakfast, we head home taking away wonderful memories with us.
