DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – Sit back and relax as we take you to Moffat, an attractive town and a conservation area with a rich heritage and history. After free time, we continue to our hotel in the pretty town of Pitlochry.
Day 2 – We begin our day with a scenic drive through Cairngorms National Park – twice the size of the Lake District – Cairngorms National Park has more mountains, forest paths, rivers, lochs, and wildlife hotspots than you can possibly imagine! We travel on to Aviemore, where we have arranged a journey on the Strathspey Steam Railway. Step back in time and experience steam train travel at its best as we glide through 10-miles of breathtaking Scottish Highland scenery. During our journey we will enjoy a traditional Scottish shortbread and a hot drink served on board.
Day 3 – Enjoy free time today in Pitlochry, one of Scotland’s most beautiful and vibrant destinations which is nestled amongst the stunning scenery of Highland Perthshire. After a relaxing morning, perhaps enjoy a leisurely walk in to town to explore the various cafés, restaurants and gift shops.
Day 4 – After breakfast we visit Stirling for free time. Explore the Royal history at Stirling Castle and visit the National Wallace Monument, which commemorates the life of Sir William Wallace.
Day 5 – This morning we visit Branklyn Gardens, cared for by the National Trust for Scotland. Discover this enchanting 2‐acre hillside garden created in the 1920s. A haven of peace and tranquility, it contains a wonderful collection of rare species, exotic plants and curious cultivars for you to spot. Afterwards, we take you the short distance to Perth. Beautifully situated on the banks of the River Tay, Perth boasts plenty of ancient monuments and stylish shopping.
Day 6 – After breakfast we visit the Kelpies the 100ft high horse heads are the world’s largest equine sculptures. Afterwards we continue our journey home.
