DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – After door‐to‐door pick‐ups we travel to our hotel enjoying comfort breaks along the way. On arrival there will be some time to settle in before we enjoy a glass of sherry with the hotel staff. Day 2 – Following a leisurely morning we travel to Healy’s Cider Farm where we have arranged a guided tour and tasting. During our informative guided tour we will learn about cider and jam making, enjoy a tutored tasting, a tractor ride and visit the distillery and cellars. Later, as dusk falls, we’ll take you into Padstow to experience their Christmas Festival, one of the largest in the UK. Bringing together chefs, local food producers and crafts celebrate Christmas in a captivating waterside setting. There will be a late dinner served at the hotel today.
Day 3 – Spend Christmas Day in the comfort of our cosy hotel. Breakfast will be followed by some festive activities including quizzes and games and even a visit from Father Christmas! After our traditional Christmas dinner there will be an evening of cabaret entertainment.
Day 4 – After breakfast we travel to Truro for free time. Dating back over 800 years, the city’s
heritage is as a market town and port, today it is Cornwall’s only city and its most striking feature is the grand Cathedral, where we have arranged a guided tour. Built at the turn of the century, it continues to dominate the Truro skyline and has some interesting Victorian stained glass windows. This afternoon we return to the hotel for a delicious cream tea before we enjoy a candlelit dinner later this evening.
Day 5 – Full of festive cheer we return home, with comfort stops along the way.
