Visits to Wroxham & Norwich
DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – Today we visit the stately Blickling Hall. Set in the heart of a magnificent garden and historic park in the beautiful Bure Meadows. This breathtaking red-brick mansion was donated to the National Trust in 1940 by Phillip Kerr, 11th Marquis of Lothian who is vital to its story because without him, it’s unlikely that Blickling would still be around! After some free time, we continue to our hotel in Great Yarmouth.
Day 2 – After breakfast we visit Norwich, east Anglia’s major city for our guided tour of the stunning cathedral. Its one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Europe and one of England’s finest cathedrals. This afternoon enjoy free time in Norwich, which has an eclectic mix of high street shops, malls and independent stores, preparing for the festive season.
Day 3 – Wroxham is our first stop today. Often called the capital of the Broads, it’s located on the banks of the River Bure and offers many delightful eateries to enjoy.
