Day 1

We travel to the historic medieval market town of Tewkesbury for a lunchtime visit. Set where the Severn and Avon meet, it offers charming streets, timber-framed buildings, atmospheric alleyways, independent shops, cafés and its magnificent abbey. We then continue to our hotel, where dinner this evening comes with a wonderfully improvised and interactive comedy experience. Step inside the world of the famously chaotic Fawlty Towers hotel as Basil, Sybil and Manuel burst into life around you. With sharp performances, quick-fire humour and plenty of audience involvement, this lively tribute to the much-loved 1970s sitcom delivers laughs, mayhem and memorable moments as you become part of the madness.

Day 2

After a leisurely breakfast, we depart the hotel with memories of last night's hilarity and enjoy a scenic drive home through the Cotswolds. We stop off for a late-morning visit to Moreton-in-Marsh, where the broad High Street, lined with elegant 17th- and 18th-century Cotswold stone buildings, reflects the town's long history as a centre for trade and commerce, before continuing our homeward journey this afternoon.
