DDay 2
Today we visit Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, set on the banks of the River Clyde. Known for its warm welcome and vibrant atmosphere, Glasgow offers something for everyone-from striking modern architecture such as the Glasgow Tower and Science Centre to grand Victorian buildings. Enjoy free time to browse a fantastic range of shops, visit world-class museums, or simply soak up the energy of this dynamic, cultural hub.
B, DDay 3
Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure, or why not join our optional excursion to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond? Travelling to Balloch, located on the southern shores of the loch, you'll discover stunning scenery alongside a variety of attractions. Spend time at Loch Lomond Shores, where you can browse shops, enjoy a café stop, or visit attractions such as the Sea Life Aquarium or Bird of Prey Centre. For those wishing to explore further, a scenic boat cruise offers a wonderful way to take in the loch's beauty, while nearby Balloch Country Park provides peaceful walking routes.
B, DDay 4
We enjoy a full-day excursion along the attractive North Ayrshire coast to Wemyss Bay, where we board the ferry to the beautiful Isle of Bute. Keep watch for marine life as we sail across the Firth of Clyde before arriving to explore this charming island. A scenic tour reveals tranquil bays, rolling landscapes, and picturesque villages, with opportunities to spot local wildlife along the way. Later, we spend free time in Rothesay, a traditional seaside town where you can stroll the promenade, relax in the gardens, explore the historic castle, or sample local Scottish fare, before returning by ferry to the mainland.
B, DDay 5
We begin our journey home, making suitable comfort stops along the way.
