Day 1

After pickups, we travel south to the elegant resort of Sidmouth.

Day 2

Don't let its compact size fool you - Exeter is one of England's most attractive and historically interesting cities! Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans in 50AD, the area's rich history is reflected in its fascinating visitor attractions including the unique Underground Passages, the magnificent Cathedral, the imposing Roman walls and the awardwinning Royal Albert Memorial Museum. After exploring, we travel downriver to Exmouth to board a relaxing cruise along the River Exe, taking in the beautiful local scenery and wildlife that surrounds you.

Day 3

Regularly voted as one of Europe's top ten beach destinations, Weymouth is home to beautiful golden sands and a pretty harbourside lined with a kaleidoscope of colourful houses. This afternoon, we travel to the nearby Isle of Portland, where you’ll find the famous Portland Bill Lighthouse. Standing majestically for over one hundred years, our trip to the visitor's centre will teach you about the lighthouse and its many keepers. If you climb to the top, you will be rewarded with views over Dorset's beautiful Jurassic Coast (additional charges apply).

Day 4

After breakfast, enjoy your Easter Sunday exploring the lovely seaside town of Sidmouth in your own time. Once described by poet John Betjeman as "a town caught still in a timeless charm”; situated on the historic Jurassic Coast, Sidmouth is home to beautiful blue-flag beaches, stylish eating places and great shopping opportunities. As a special Easter treat, a sumptuous afternoon tea will be served at our hotel today!
