Day 1
After departing, we head to our hotel with a visit to Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon on the way.
DDay 2
We head to the beautiful and historic Cotswolds village of Broadway, where it’s all aboard the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway for a journey towards Cheltenham. Enjoy the pretty views across the Cotswolds via this heritage locomotive and comfortable carriages. After our journey, we return to our hotel this afternoon.
B, DDay 3
Enjoy a leisurely start to the day before enjoying our afternoon excursion to Cirencester. Often referred to as ‘the capital of the Cotswolds’, this charming market town is home to the Corinium Museum, an award-winning collection of local archaeological finds from over two-hundred thousand years of history. The museum is best known for its extensive collection of Roman artifacts found from Corinium, Roman Britain's second largest city (admission not included).
B, DDay 4
After breakfast, we head to Tetbury; once an important market for the Cotswolds wool trade, the town is now better associated with boutique shopping, fine dining and its royal connections. Later, we visit nearby Highgrove, the private residence of His Royal Highness King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Joined by one of his Majesty’s experienced guides, we tour the King's gardens, which include the other-worldly Stumpery Garden, the whimsical Thyme Walk and the Chelsea award-winning Carpet Garden; you'll see Highgrove through the eyes of royalty! Following our tour, we enjoy an included two-course lunch in the Orchard Room, where you'll be surrounded by fascinating paintings of The King and his family. Don’t forget to visit the Coronation Pavilion where you may like to purchase a souvenir of your visit.
B, DDay 5
After checking out this morning, we head to Henley-on-Thames, one of the most beautiful towns in England and home to the famous Royal Boating Regatta. Here, we have arranged a sightseeing cruise on the River Thames before we continue our journey home.
