Grassington 1940's Weekend

Experience the beautiful Yorkshire Dales village of Grassington as it takes a step back to the 1940’s and Wartime Britain for this annual festival! During the day enjoy a ride on a vintage bus and head to the heart of the re-enactor camps. Here you’ll find the encampments, vintage market stalls, skirmishes, military displays and military vehicles.

Heading up into the village, take a walk around the famous cobbled streets and you will hear the sounds of the 40's throughout the day as you browse around Grassington’s shops, cafes and public houses. Carry on up towards the Devonshire Institute and you can find Murray and Jill for a dance in the street, or maybe even chance upon Carolyn on the trapeze.
