Day 1
We travel to our hotel via a visit to Llangollen, home to stunning natural scenery and a rich history to explore.
DDay 2
We travel through the beautiful Welsh countryside via a visit to Betws-y-Coed. Set in Snowdonia National Park in a valley referred to as 'Little Switzerland', this quaint town is one of North Wales' most popular inland resorts. After a chance to explore, join us on a journey aboard the Lake Bala Railway. This narrow-gauge steam railway runs alongside Llyn Tegid (Lake Bala) and is hauled by a historic Welsh steam locomotive, which affords excellent views of beautiful Snowdonia.
B, DDay 3
Found between Llyn Padarn's shores and the base of Mount Snowdon, enjoy a free day in Llanberis, one of the most picturesque villages in Wales. You'll find the National Slate Museum and plenty of mountain or lakeside walks. Also, you may also like to take the opportunity to travel on the magical Snowdon Mountain Railway for some panoramic views.
B, DDay 4
Our first stop today is historic Caernarfon, home to one of the most famous castles in Wales, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the venue for King Charles's investiture as the Prince of Wales in 1969. Later, we travel over the bridge to the Isle of Anglesey and towards the impressive Beaumaris Castle for a short photo opportunity. Built in the eleventh century and despite being unfinished, Beaumaris Castle is regarded as one of the finest castles of its era. Upon arriving in Beaumaris town, we board a boat cruise to Puffin Island. This leisurely journey takes us around the island with live commentary and local history. Keep your eyes peeled for the resident puffins, grey seals or bottlenose dolphins (wildlife sightings are not guaranteed)!
B, DDay 5
Today, we travel home with comfort stops enroute.
